RTE is a women-owned local small business that applies cradle-to-cradle concepts to waste management and is the flagship company within the BEGIN New Venture Center (BNVC), an innovative business incubator located at the St. Patrick Center, a homeless center. The BNVC engages companies to grow their business as well as to supporting the mission of St. Patrick Center for the homeless and impoverished through the creation of employment opportunities. RTE strives to apply cradle-to-cradle concepts to people as well as resources.

USGBC Training includes LEED for Homes, LEED for NC, LEED for ED, and LEED for Schools. Twenty years experience in the scientific arena, including regulatory affairs, chemistry, and biotechnology. Undergraduate in Chemistry and Biology and graduate degrees in Biotechnology from Washington University and Tropical Ecology and Conservation from UMSL. Graduate school research project was the design and “LEED-compliant” strategy for our green home.

Catherine Ramirez, B.S., Nutrition, from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale, Nationally Certified Personal Trainer,Waste Management Accredited Professional, and USGBC Training (LEED for Homes, LEED for NC, LEED for ED, and LEED for Schools). Eight years experience in the scientific arena of regulatory affairs, chemistry, and biotechnology. Extensive small business experience including event planning for a VP of a major corporation.

Michael Hutchens, B.S. Engineering from University of Illinois, MBA from Washington University. Twenty five years of experience at Boeing, to include engineering, finance, and international business. Currently serve as Country Business Lead in Saudi Arabia.
